The Feminine Rising – Women’s Retreat

with Dr. Betsy Rippentrop

October 5-12, 2025

Feminine consciousness is rising and this force is one of healing, connection, creativity, compassion, flow, intuitive wisdom, and receptivity.

The island of Paros, Greece, tucked in the heart of the Agean sea, is a perfect backdrop to explore, experience and embody this powerful feminine life force through the study and embodiment or Goddess archetypes from the yoga tradition and beyond.

With a group of like-minded women, and led by Dr Betsy Rippentrop, you’ll have a chance to experience deep inner healing through the practices of yoga, meditation, breath work, contemplation, energy work, and ritual.

If you are ready for transformation through increasing trust in the feminine, this experience is for you.

Betsy Rippentrop is an amazingly gifted teacher. The way she integrates body, mind, and soul work through yoga and meditation is like nothing I’ve ever experienced and has become such a critical part of my healing journey. She has a unique ability to “feel the room” and compassionately guide a group through a powerful, and often transformative, practice. I feel so lucky to have her as my teacher!

Vacation Details

Our retreat center on tranquil Paros Island sits on the relatively untouched seaside of Santa Maria. The closeness to nature in its rawness and purity creates deeply nourishing conditions for your healing, rejuvenation and self reflection.

Built in harmony with nature,  your eco-retreat home for the week offers the opportunity to take immerse youelf in nature, eat clean and live in harmony with the land and sea.

The Cycladic Island of Paros is seated in the crystal blue water of the Aegean, and is well known for its beaches and whitewashed traditional villages.  Less touristy than its sister islands of Santorini and Mykonos, Paros is an idyllic island for our retreat.

Enjoy morning and afternoon yoga, swimming in the sea, visiting the village of Naoussa and immersing in Greek island life. A special excursion via boat is also being planned for the group.

Accommodations are simple and rustic, inspired by the elements and the muses of Greek Mythology, the rooms are open, naturally lit and purposefully minimal to simplify your experience on retreat. Most of the rooms face the seaside and are a stone’s throw away from Filizi beach, with unencumbered access to the crystal waters of the Aegean Sea. Perfect for a sunrise dip!

Rooms have ceiling fans, private bathrooms, towels, linens, a water kettle and small fridge. They do not have the option of AC, which shoudl not ba an issue this time of year (chosen specifically!)  Wifi is available on the property for your convenience, but we encourage as much “unplugging” as possible!

Organic gardens supply the majority of ingredients to the on site vegetarian restaurant. Other ingredients are sourced locally (on Paros, or wider-Greece) with a low carbon footprint in mind. Meals are prepared based on ancient Ayurvedic principles, emphasizing wellbeing, balance and bliss in the body. Each meal, you’ll be offered a variety of plant-based dishes, fusing exotic Indian flavours with the tastes and character of traditional Greek cuisine.

The kitchen takes great pride in creating meals with complete taste profiles that tantalize the taste buds and leave the body and soul satiated, nourished and energized.

For something extra, the kitchen is available to serve you in between meals, with juices and smoothies, and a selection of healthy snacks and salads available for order throughout the day.

Daily yoga classes will be offered (morning and afternoon) in one of two beautifully appointed yoga shalas.  (Shala’s do have the option of air conditioning as needed)

Travel, Additional Information & FAQ’s

Your retreat starts on Sunday. We’ll collect your travel plans and coordinate with the center to arrange some taxi shares to the center. (On small islands, there are no credit card machines on taxi’s, so please plan to have some Euro for these short jaunts!)

We anticipate that many of you will extend your travels before or after the retreat – adding some time in Athens or on other islands. We anticipate everyone’s main international flights will be to Athens, then hopping a short flight directly to Paros from Athens (available on Aegean Air and SkyExpress). Baserd on timing of flights, it may be necessary to add a night in Athems on the front and / or back end.

Another option to get to Paros from Athens or other Greek islands is by ferry. The ferry is 4.5 hours from Athens, but much closer if you’re coming from another island.

For ferry tickets and information visit: or or

The retreat ends with breakfast on the following Sunday. We’re happy to arrange taxi shares to  the port or airport.

We’ve scheduled this retreat in October to have the best of all worlds … you’re just AFTER high tourism season (and the hottest part of the summer). Pleasant temperatures arrive in October (typically 60-70F) while the Sea stays comfortable for swimming.

  • Comfortable walking / hiking shoes as well as all purpose footwear like sandals, running shoes, etc.
  • A bathing suit (or 2!), comfortable island clothing, light layers, yoga clothes.  Laundry facilities are not available, but you can hand wash and hang to dry.
  • A light wind and rain breaker (just in case, and for warmth if it cools at night)
  • Refillable Water Bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Adapters for electronics
  • Other suggestions – consider water shoes if you have sensitive feet, some beaches are pebbles / rocky.  Goggles if you like swimming. Swim shirt if you’re sensitive to sun or just like extra warmth.  A waterproof bag for your phone that you can take into or near water.
