MEXICO
Resilience Retreat, Discovering the Inner Healer
with Jenn Wooten and Brenda Gauthier
April 20 – 27, 2024
The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears, or the sea. ~ Isak Denesen
Join us for a transformative week-long retreat dedicated to restoring balance and clearing a path to well-being. Set between the tropical jungle and the pristine sandy beach of Chacala, México, this retreat offers a sanctuary for rejuvenation and self-discovery.
The retreat is designed to support embodied healing practices that restore nervous system health, release stress and promote a sense of embodied well-being. Guided yoga sessions centering on nervous system health are offered daily, allowing participants to connect with their bodies, increase vagal tone and heart rate variability (both indicators of resilience), and cultivate a sense of mindful ease and ground us in the present moment.
Immersing ourselves in the power of breathwork, we will engage in intensive sessions that encourage deep inner exploration and release. By harnessing the breath, we access expanded states of consciousness, move energy, release emotional blockages, and tap into a profound sense of clarity and inner strength. Through this transformative practice, participants can experience a newfound sense of freedom, empowerment, and emotional well-being. Breathwork is an opportunity to tap into your body’s innate capacity to heal.
In addition to the core retreat program, the retreat offers an additional (optional) program / certification in Somatic Integrative Breathwork.
This retreat welcomes individuals from various backgrounds and experiences who share a common goal of restoring balance, enhancing wellness, and fostering personal growth in a supportive and nurturing environment. Led by an experienced yoga therapist and clinical therapist with an extensive background in somatic approaches to healing, we will help you bring your body into your mental health. You will emerge with a renewed sense of balance, clarity, and vitality. The week-long journey serves as a catalyst for ongoing well-being practices, empowering you to integrate mindfulness, movement, breath, and ritual self-care into your everyday life. Join us on this transformative retreat as we embark on a path of restoration and embodied healing.
Your week has 2 pricing and participation options:
1. To join as a retreat particpant which inlucdes 2 group classes per day and plenty of open time to enjoy the beach, relax and unplug.
