Join Jenn Wooten & Laura Forsyth for an experience of a lifetime as we sail the Greek archipelago!

We’ll meet in Athens and transfer to our 50 foot private sailboats that will take us on our 8 day sailing adventure to experience the sea faring life of open waters, sea breeze, sunshine and magic!  We’ll visit the Cycladic islands of  Kythnos, Sifnos, Serifos and Kea – true gems of the Aegean, only accessible by sea.  Our secluded destinations offer tranquil beaches, blue and white painted villages, and some of the best cuisine in Greece.

Everything is included and taken care of from the moment you land in Athens.

** Space is limited, and reservations required well in advance to for this special trip.**

Vacation Details

Rising out of the crystal blue seas of the Aegean are rugged outcrops of rock, liberally dotted with snow-white villages and blue-domed churches, stellar archaeological sites and dozens of postcard-worthy beaches.  These are the unmistakeable iconic and world renowned islands of Greece.

Among the 223 tiny islands, the most popular are Mykonos & Santorini, but our adventure will take us to more secluded destinations off the tourist path. We’ll visit KythnosSifnosSerifos & Kea, the gems of the Cyclades, located just southeast of mainland Greece.

Our home for the week will be aboard 45-50′ sailboats that travel and moor together as a “floatilla” at our various sites each day.  Four guest cabins are available on each boat with a double bed and shared or private bathrooms.  These simple and compact accommodations are part of the sailing life (and charm!) and we’ll advise on how to best prepare and pack.

Everything is included once you land in Athens, from our first group lunch in Athens, and everything during your sailing adventure – meals on board an in local villages, excursions, yoga classes, sea exploration equipment, and our crews on each boat teaching us the ins and outs of sailing and the magic of sea life.

ABOUT THE ISLANDS WE’LL VISIT:
Our adventure begins in Athens, where we set said for Kythnos. This mountainous island is characterized by the embossed Cycladic scenery. Small villages built according to traditional architecture, paved alleys, pristine white houses, churches, windmills, countless beaches, crystal clear water and tranquility. A great first destination to get accustomed of the sailing lifestyle and immerse into the Cycladic scenery.

Boasting the typical Cycladic architecture, Sifnos is dotted with cubic whitewashed houses, over 300 scenic churches, dovecotes, and little earthenware shops. A balance of beautiful beaches, low key nightlife, and possibly the best food in the Cyclades.  Seemingly endless hiking trails to gloriously peaceful yoga spots.

In Greek mythology, Serifos is the birthplace of Perseus (the hero who killed Medusa) and where the Cyclopes were said to live. Serifos has a raw, rugged beauty with steep mountains plunging to broad ultramarine bays. ThMemories of a purer era permeate this island’s town, a vision in brilliant white cascading down a conical hill.

Kea or Tzia has plenty of natural appeal with craggy cliffs, a spectacular coastline, and fertile valleys filled with orchards, olive groves and oak trees. You’ll love discovering its beaches, old churches, Hellenistic towers, watermills and windmills. Trekking trails pass no fewer than four ancient cities (Ioulis, Korissia, Poiessa and Karthaia). Mythology says that the first home of the nymphs was here, and it isn’t hard to imagine why.

Each 50ft sailboat will have a maximum of 6-8 guests with 5 cabins: 2 double bed cabins with ensuite bathroom and 2 double bed cabins and 1 bunk bed cabin with shared bathroom used for the crew. Equipped with all the amenities of a floating hotel, including air conditioning (for the hot months of summer in Greece), carefully selected bed linen and towels, comfortable cockpit cushions and sunbeds for the bow, electric heads, usb sockets in cabins and saloon and many small details that will make your sailing cruise memorable.
