Did you know that there are locations on this planet where people live to be centenarians (past 100 years) and experience the highest levels of well-being and happiness?
Out of all the thousands of cities around the world there are only five of these locations.
These locations are called Blue Zones and they include:
- The Italian island of Sardinia
- Okinawa, Japan
- Loma Linda, California
- Costa Rica’s isolated Nicoya Peninsula
- Ikaria, an isolated Greek island
One location we can tell you about in particular is Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula, because we’ve held retreats there before and have one coming up in April 2019
What you’ll find in the Blue Zone of Nosara, Costa Rica:
- Pristine beaches and warm water
- Ocean coves to swim in
- Natural lush green jungles
- Organic fruits and vegetables
- Bright, colorful singing birds, butterflies and lizards
- Really, really, happy and accommodating people
And of course the singing howler monkeys to welcome you as you arrive. They even have matching outfits. Okay not really, but the humans aren’t the only ones happy and living a long time in this location.
When’s the last time you visited a place that says that people are so happy and healthy that they live to be over a hundred years old?
The only thing that would make this location better is if you experienced the energy of this land first hand for yourself.

What A Next Level Yoga Retreat Looks and Feels Like
If it is vitality you seek, then Kundalini Yoga is exactly what you need. Through the chanting of mantras, the magnificent sounds of the gong and the ocean as your backdrop – there is nothing else that compares to what Kundalini Yoga can do for you.
You may have heard whispers of DNA recalibration, increasing your manifesting powers and activating youthful vitality using Kundalini yoga…and it’s all true. In Kundalini yoga, there is a mantra and kriya for everything. Whatever your heart and mind desire, Kundalini yoga delivers.
This is what you can expect in our April 2019 retreat in the Costa Rica Blue Zone which happens to be offering a big special until January 31st 2019. We’ve designed the perfect soundscape setting in a high-end, relaxing resort called Blue Spirit Center.
Adding value beyond the typical yoga retreat is what sets top yoga retreat companies apart from others. Value added experiences and hand picked teachers are a couple of ways the April 2019 Yoga Retreat does this. The gong is a healing tool whose sound reverberates in, around and through your body. The sound currents know exactly where to go. Chakras are aligned, and you feel like a brand new being. One experience is incredible, but a weeklong experience of Kundalini yoga coupled with gong energy is absolutely transformative.
Mehtab, whose teacher was Yogi Bhajan, received the Kundalini Yoga Teacher of the Year Award as well as the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers’ Association award for “Building Yoga Communities.”
If you are being introduced to Kundalini yoga for the first or thousandth time, there is no better teacher to lead this retreat.
Mehtab is the originator and author of Gong Yoga, the first book and course on using the gong with the practices of yoga and meditation. His book, Teaching Gong Yoga, has been used in yoga teacher training classes by teachers of all disciplines, and his book Gong Therapy has provided the foundation for teaching sound healers, healing professionals, and yoga teachers how to use the gong therapeutically. His passion is in training students from all backgrounds in how to play the gong, and he has created a video course and an online course (www.gongdharma.com) to instruct students who do not have the opportunity to train with him personally.
Mehtab is a life-long astrologer who discovered the spiritual potency of using Indian or Vedic Astrology to guide people in finding their dharma and life purpose. He is a mentor in the American College of Vedic Astrology and has trained yoga students and teachers in the basics of using astrology with their spiritual journey. His book Astrology Yoga is the first and most comprehensive book that integrates the practice of Yoga with the wisdom of Jyotish (Vedic Astrology).
He and his wife Laura, or Guru Karam, have lived in Austin, Texas for over 40 years where they have taught yoga together in the five yoga studios they founded in 1997.
Join Mehtab in Nosara, Costa Rica April 13-20, 2019 and save hundreds when you book by January 31, 2019.
