Vacation Details

Your retreat includes 7 nights accommodations at our private retreat center in the heart of the Sacred Valley, group pick up and drop off from Cusco Airport on the first and last day of the retreat, all yoga Classes with Gioconda, all meals (vegetarian and vegan), and the following ceremonies and explorations:

MOTHER EARTH OFFERING
The offering to Mother Earth (Pachamama) is part of the system of reciprocity between the spiritual world and the material world. The offerings to Mother Earth have their origin in the relationship between the millenary culture of the Q´eros and our Pachamama. The offering is a symbolic way in which the man returns and appreciates the fruits that she gives us.

CACAO CEREMONY
This ceremony is oriented to reconnect us with beauty, sweetness and love in ourselves, so that from that powerful center we can relate and serve.

SALT MINES OF MARAS AND MORAY TOUR
This excursion offers you some of the most interesting Inca sites in Cusco. Start with a visit to the colonial city of Maras and its church. From there we continue to the Inca crop circles of Moray, a magnificent series of terraces in circles that were once used by the Incas for experimentation with crops. Our final destination is the salt mines that have been in use since pre-Inca times. The water from an underground stream is channeled through pools where it evaporates leaving pure salt crystals. With thousands of white pools that stretch across the valley, the views are impressive.
Includes: transportation, guide, tickets and lunch at the Huacatay restaurant.

PISAQ RUINS AND MARKET
One of the architectural gems of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is the archaeological site of Pisaq, is located on the slopes of a mountain, on the beautiful village of Pisaq. The ruins are 25 minutes from the town, following the path down to the mountainside.
Pisaq Market: during most of the week the colonial city of Pisaq is a quiet Andean village where locals relax in the main square or enjoy freshly baked bread in an old clay oven. Here is a popular market for tourists where you can get a variety of memories. Every Sunday the activity in the market increases and the town comes alive, attracting local people and international tourists. The main square is filled, especially after the mass, which is celebrated in the Quechua language. The congregation leaves the church in a colorful procession, guided by the Mayor holding his command rod.
Includes: Transportation, guide, entrance and lunch at the Mullu restaurant.

DAY TRIP TO MACHU PICCHU
A magical full day visiting the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu is an Inca citadel located in the highlands of the Andes Mountains in Peru, above the Vilcabamba River valley. It was built in the fifteenth century, and is famous for its sophisticated dry stone walls that combine huge blocks without the use of a mortar, the fascinating buildings that are related to the astronomical alignments and its panoramic views. The exact use it had remains a mystery. Includes transportation to and from the station, train tickets to and from Aguas Calientes, bus ticket up and down to the archaeological site, guide and lunch at El Indio Feliz.
