MOROCCO
Marrakech and more!
with Jenn Wooten and Laura Forsyth
January, 2027
RESERVATIONS OPEN SOON!
Join Jenn and Laura as we journey for the first time to Morocco, a land of rich colors, vibrant culture, and soulful contrasts.
Just outside the ancient city of Marrakech, our home for the week is a private property, resting amidst olive groves and desert palms. Here, the hum of the city gives way to stillness, beauty, and space to retreat.
Our days will flow in harmony with the rhythm of this extraordinary place, balancing moments of rest and rejuvenation with cultural immersion and adventure. We’ll visit the famouns Medina markets of Marrakech, spend a day in the Toubkal region of the Atlas Mountains, and we’ll roll up our sleeves for a Moroccan cooking class. You’ll have the opportunity to visit a traditional hammam for a scrub and massage, and for the pinnacle of adventure, we’ll offer the opportunity to float above the desert at sunrise on a hot air balloon ride.
During our stay, we’ll also visit and support Project Soar, a meaningful local initiative that empowers girls through education and leadership. Our visit offers a chance to connect directly with the heart of Morocco, witnessing firsthand the strength and spirit of the next generation of women shaping their communities.
This specially curated 7-night / 8-day retreat is designed to be both nurturing and adventurous; a chance to soak in the sensory richness of Morocco while returning to your own inner rhythm.
Thsi retreat is linmited to 14 particpants per week. Please reserve early!
Our home for the week is a serene retreat property tucked amid olive groves and desert palms, just 20 minutes outside Marrakech. Thoughtfully designed with hand-carved details, mosaic pathways, and colorful textiles gathered from across Morocco, every detail reflects the beauty and craftsmanship of this land. Shaded terraces, hidden courtyards, and open-air lounges invite quiet rest or easy conversation with new and old friends.
Each guest room is uniquely curated with a blend of Moroccan artistry and modern comfort. Shared spaces include a tranquil yoga pavilion surrounded by gardens, cozy gathering nooks, rooftop terraces with spectacular sunset views, and a swimming pool where you can unwind after a day of exploration.
Each day begins with a nourishing breakfast of fresh fruits, yogurt, local breads, and mint tea. Lunches might include colorful plates of tagines, couscous, and salads that highlight the flavors of Morocco. Dinners bring everyone together under the glow of candlelight and stars.
After enjoying daily breakfast and morning yoga with Jenn, we’ll have our days activites which will include exploring the medina of Marrakech with a private guide, learning the art of Moroccan cooking at an organic farm infused with spice and laughter, and journeying into the Atlas Mountains for breathtaking views and village trails.
Optional experiences include a sunrise hot air balloon ride or a traditional hammam spa visit, while a visit to Project Soar offers a glimpse into Morocco’s heart through its empowered young women. Between these moments, there’s plenty of time to lounge by the mosaic-tiled swimming pool, sip mint tea beneath the palms, or curl up with a book in one of the shaded garden alcoves.
Between yoga, cultural adventures, and quiet moments under the desert sky, this peaceful oasis will become more than just a place to stay– it will feel like a home in the heart of Morocco.

Travel, Additional Information & FAQ’s
Please plan your travel to arrive and depart from Marrakech, Morocco (RAK Airport) on the start and end dates of your retreat, unless you wish to add extra time to explore Marrakech or other parts of Morocco on your own.
We will arrange complimentary pick-ups and drop-offs from Marrakech airport to bring you directly to our peaceful retreat home located just outside the city. The drive is approximately 25 minutes through groves of olive trees and palm-dotted desert landscapes.
If you’d like to extend your stay, we recommend arriving a day or two early to explore the city’s colorful souks, gardens, and historical sites, or staying a bit longer afterward to venture into the coastal town of Essaouira or the dunes of the Agafay Desert.
Important Note:
To enter Morocco, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your arrival date. U.S. citizens do not require a visa for stays under 90 days. If you are traveling from another country, please verify your entry requirements before booking your flights.
Weather:
Late January through early February is one of the most pleasant times to visit Morocco. Days are typically sunny and mild with average daytime temperatures in the mid-60s to low-70s°F (18–22°C), while evenings can cool down significantly, dipping into the 40s°F (5–9°C) once the sun sets.
Currency: The local currency is the Moroccan Dirham (MAD). Credit cards are accepted in many shops and restaurants in Marrakech, though smaller purchases, markets, and gratuities are best paid in cash. ATMs are widely available at the airport and in town.
Language: Arabic and French are the primary languages spoken, though English is commonly understood in hotels, restaurants, and shops. Learning a few simple phrases in French or Arabic (such as merci or shukran for “thank you”) is always appreciated by locals.
