Cuba is a place and a people rooted in culture, history, and curiosity that has been all but closed to Americans for nearly half a century–until now. In 2015, travel permissions for U.S. citizens expanded, allowing for cultural groups and scholars to visit this Caribbean gem. Travel with One Yoga Retreats and step back in time to experience the culture, art, music, dance, and cuisine of Cuba.
Experience old Havana, eat the food, listen to the music and ride in the classic cars. Depending of your particular trip, optional excursions to the pristine white sands beaches, Vinales or Pinar del Rio may be possible along with salsa classes and / or other cultural activities and sights. The highlight of the journey, of course is our person-to-person cultural exchange with the people and artists of Cuba, including spending time with the Grandfather of Cuban Yoga, Eduardo Pimentel and with members of the Cuban yoga community.
This is a legal and licensed trip for US citizens and no additional visas are needed.

My retreat to Cuba with One Yoga Retreats was so much fun! I loved that we did yoga every day, but we also had opportunities to explore the culture, rest, play, or do really what our heart desired. What I also loved about the retreat was how much communication there was before the trip. I was let in on how, when, where to prepare for everything. The people who showed up are now my great friends….they were people who like adventures, yoga, and meeting new folks!
This trip was so well planned! We were fortunate enough to experience Cuba through guides who have a true love and appreciation for the Cuban culture. It was a honor to personally meet Eduardo Pimentel, the grandfather of Cuban yoga and visit the home of the humble, brilliant artist Gallo. I left Cuba with a heart full of gratitude, a renewed love for humanity, and new friends that will forever be part of this amazing adventure.
