Chelsea Vincent was found (and rescued!) by yoga in 2005, when an accident severed 80% of her right achilles tendon. Yoga was suggested as part of her physical therapy program, and she has been hooked ever since, finding both physical strength and emotional healing and bliss on her mat.
In addition to teaching Vinyasa and Power Yoga since 2008, Chelsea has immersed herself in various other modalities of fitness. She has taught yoga for special populations, including beginners, athletes, and yoga for desk occupations. Chelsea is also a certified Personal Trainer and Wellness Specialist, in addition to having studied and taught dance, weightlifting, indoor cycling, barre, sculpt, interval classes, and nutrition coaching.
When Chelsea is not on her mat, she enjoys bringing people together in other ways, whether through potlucks, volunteer events, or travel, as “people (and nature) are the best things that can happen to anyone”, when given an opportunity to grow and to thrive. Chelsea is also a working voice over artist and photographer, as well as an outdoors enthusiast and health-savvy cook. She is a bold, spunky, old soul, and she looks forward to sharing this majestic, life-changing adventure in Iceland with you this October!
