We’ll stay at the luxury villas of Surya Kembar (Twin Suns) in beautiful natural surroundings of sun, water, and open air. The vacation includes lodgings, meals, Kundalini yoga classes, gong meditations and relaxation, and the following special excursions and treats:

Plus arranged optional adventures on your own like river rafting, a sunrise hike to the summit of the most sacred mountain in Bali, or a downhill bicycle ride from Kintamani village that ends with a swim in a waterfall!
Upon your arrival in Denpasar, you’ll be greeted at the airport and whisked away to our little paradise for the week. We’ll be staying in Luxury Villas at Surya Kembar, just minutes outside of Bali’s cultural capital Ubud. We’ll nourish ourselves with life-filled organic foods, visit area temples and cultural sites, and practice yoga in our open air yoga studio, We’ll also experience a performance of traditional Balinese dance and storytelling, venture out to the temple of Gunung Kawi, be blessed in the water temple of Tampak Siring and visit Goa Gajah / Elephant Cave.

Gong Therapy and Self-Hypnosis Training*
A complete 12-Hour Certification Course in using the gong, yoga, and self-hypnosis to clear past karmas, release old patterns, manage pain and trauma, and end addictive behaviors. In this training with Mehtab, author of Gong Therapy, and Guru Karam, clinical hypnotherapist APRN, you will:
- Learn how to use the sound of the gong to induce a self-hypnotic trance
- Develop techniques for creating sankalapas (life-changing commitments)
- Learn how to evaluate clients’ needs to create individualized sessions
- How to use yoga techniques in your therapy treatments
- Practice conducting one-on-one gong hypnosis sessions with each other

Travel, Additional Information & FAQ’s
Do I need a visa to visit Bali?
Most travelers, including those from the United States and Europe, do not need a visa if you are staying for less than 30 days. Make sure you have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the arrival date.

Visa regulations have been changing in Bali for almost a decade, so it is recommended that you check with your consulate for the most up-to-date information.
What airport do I fly into?
Denpasar Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) is the international airpot you will be flying into. Remember you can lose up to two days with the time change and flight time, so double check your arrival date and retreat start date.
How do I get from Denpasar to Surya Kembar?
We will arrange transportation for group members arriving on the 12th and departing on the 20th. Expect a survey collecting your travel details. Upon exiting the airport, a trusted driver will meet you with a Surya Kembar sign and big, welcoming smile.
What is the electrical currency/outlet in Bali?
Bali electricity runs at 220V and uses the European plug (two round pins). Adapters will be necessary if you are bringing any electrical items.
Is there internet access on property?
Surya Kembar offers free wi-fi throughout the property.

What will the weather be like?
August is the best weather month for Bali. It’s the peak of the dry season so plenty of sunshine with average ocean temperatures of 81F (27C). Temperatures range from 72F (22C) to 88F (31C) – perfect weather for outdoor exploring and comfortable evenings.
What should I pack?
We recommend light clothing that breathes but can also protect you from the sun. If you are planning on attending one of the sacred sound concerts at a temple, modest dress is suggested.
What is the currency?
The currency here is called Rupiah. You can bring your own currency over and convert it, or use ATM machines to withdraw Indonesian currency. Many restaurants and stores take credit cards, let your credit card company know you are traveling.
Mehtab Benton is the originator and author of Gong Yoga, the first book on using the gong in the practice of yoga. He has trained hundreds of yoga teachers, therapists, and musicians in the art of playing the gong. Laura (Guru Karam) Benton began her life-long yoga practice at age 16 at a Kundalini Yoga Ashram in Houston, Texas. She is certified in Kundalini Yoga, Hatha Yoga, and Ashtanga Yoga and is a Level 1 and Level 2 Kundalini Yoga Teacher Trainer. She has presented classes internationally on Gong Yoga Nidra, the art of deep relaxation with the gong, and brings a feminine perspective to the art of playing the gong for meditation and relaxation. She is the recipient of the International Kundalini Yoga Teacher’s Association “Building Communities in Yoga” award and a three-time presenter at the Southwest Yoga Conference. An Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Guru Karam is trained in Clinical Hypnosis by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, as well as in Medical Ayurveda though the Institute of Integrative Ayurveda Medical Education. . This villa has 3 bedrooms and 3 private baths. Each villa also has it’s own private outdoor area and pool. Master bedrooms are assigned first come first served. All rooms have 2 beds and all but one has a bathtub in addition to shower.

A $495 deposit will secure your space and we would be happy to match you with a roommate.
Refunds and Cancellations: Refund less deposit ($495) before May 15 . No refunds after May 15. In case of cancellation, you may transfer your deposit or your reservation to another person as long as you notify One Yoga Global 21+ days in advance. In case of cancellation by One Yoga Global, you will receive a full refund of all funds received by One Yoga Global. Due to arrangements made with our vacation hosts, there can be no exceptions to this policy. Participants will be required to sign a liability waiver to participate.
If you place a deposit, the balance due will be set to charge in equal installments starting the month after deposit through June 1, 2017, unless other arrangements are made.
