Ring in the New Year, Bali Style!
with Hawah and Mimi
December 29, 2017 – January 5, 2018
Start planning your future now. Manifest your dream of traveling to one of the most exotic and sacred lands in the world. Bali is a gateway to bountiful volcanoes, stunning beaches, ancient temples, rice-terraced mountainsides, diverse coral and marine life, and a long lineage of arts and culture.
Spiritual journeys begin and end in Bali where religion collides with vast natural beauty and landscapes. Travel with Hawah and Mimi – two master teachers who combined have nearly 40 years of experience – for 7 nights and 8 days in this magical land. You’ll be immersed in yoga classes that integrate their diverse experience in the Ashtanga, Sivananda, Iyengar, Jivamukti, and Mixed Martial Arts traditions.
On this unforgettable retreat you will have an opportunity to unplug, deepen your personal practice and return to start your New Year feeling replenished and rejuvenated. Whether you are a beginner or advanced student, Hawah and Mimi will insure that you have fun, are challenged and grow tremendously – both on and off the yoga mat.
We’ll stay at the luxury villas of Surya Kembar (Twin Suns) in beautiful natural surroundings of sun, water, and open air. The vacation includes lodgings, most meals, yoga classes, meditations and the following special excursions and treats:
- Daily yoga, meditation and pranayama classes
- Ancient temple tours of Gunung Kawi, carved into the mountainside in 1000BC, and Tirta Empul Water Temple where you can swim in the healing waters
- A special cultural performance and dinner
- An excursion to hot springs, a volcano and coffee plantation
- A special New Year’s celebration!
- Some optional adventures that may be available include river rafting, a day at white sands beach, a sunrise hike to the summit of the most sacred mountain in Bali, or a downhill bicycle ride from Kintamani village that ends with a swim in a waterfall!
Upon your arrival in Denpasar, you’ll be greeted at the airport and whisked away to our little paradise for the week. We’ll be staying in Luxury Villas at Surya Kembar, just minutes outside of Bali’s cultural capital Ubud. We’ll nourish ourselves with life-filled organic foods, visit area temples and cultural sites, and practice yoga in our open air yoga studio. We’ll also experience a performance of traditional Balinese dance and storytelling, venture out to the temple of Gunung Kawi, be blessed in the water temple of Tampak Siring and visit Goa Gajah / Elephant Cave.
